From Creek to Sea

This scene depicts a view of Ellen’s Creek at high tide as it winds towards Charlottetown Harbour and the Northumberland Strait.

I used to drive by this view daily on my work commute. In this particular instance, the combination of the glass-like reflective smoothness of the water and the pattern of the floating seaweed drew me to paint it.
