Cuihu Lotuses

Cuihu, or “Emerald Lake”, is a prominent and lively park in the middle of Kunming, Yunnan. The park’s “lake” is partially covered in swathes of lotus plants, drawing many visitors to take photo’s during their blooming in the Spring.

The first time I visited Kunming, I had just missed the blooming by a week. This lotus flower was one of the last ones remaining.
